Guest Experience Host - Being a part of serving our guests by helping out with the adventure activities, the dining experience or site logistics

Huddle or Activity Leader - Leader of a small group of teenagers or deliver content at one of the adventure activities

Accomodation

Generally our volunteers have the options to go in the Marae Style Accommodation, or the dormitory bunk rooms, there are a limited number of cabins off the bunks that are prioritized for couples who are volunteering but are not guaranteed. We do hire a few caravans that sit at powered sites for the event. These cost $800 for the 10 days and have to be booked in advanced - please let us know if you would like one.

It will be a first in first served as we only have a limited number available for hire.

Statement of Belief

Our belief is that God is able to work in peoples' lives and accomplish His purposes when His people are united in one spirit. In the light of that our aim is to have a volunteer team of people at JH Aotearoa who are in unity. In light of those aims please read through our statement of belief and tick the boxes if you agree. If you don't agree or have something you'd like to add please do so in the space provided.

At JH Aotearoa

We believe in the scripture of the Old and New Testament as verbally inspired by God, inherent in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word, and deed.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension to Heaven, in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.

We believe that our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ will personally return and set up His Kingdom wherein He will rule and reign in righteousness.

We believe in the personality, deity, and work of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Great Commission which our Lord has given to His Church to evangelise the world, and that this evangelisation is the great mission of the Church.
